Abstract:

Abstract In this paper, we propose an Adaptive Multi Clustering Approach for Base Station Locations Management in Mobile Cellular Networks. The proposed solution is tested using various clustering algorithm for Cellular networks. The clustering algorithm provides a clusterhead, which form a focus point to represent the weight for users’ densities in various network topologies. Simulation experiments were carried out to evaluate the performance of various clustering algorithm in terms of the number of cluster density, and number of required base stations to cover a certain terrain. Results show that clustering algorithms can provide a rough estimate for the number of Cellular Base Stations in a certain geographical area.
