Abstract:

Abstract A10x10 half diallel cross were made in 2018/2019 season. Each of parents and their 45 F1 crosses were evaluated under two locations (Ras Sudr and Moshtohor) during 2019/2020 season for some physiological traits. Highly significant genotypes, for genotype and its partitioning (parent, crosses and Parent vs crosses) and both types of combining ability mean squares (MS) were obtained for all studied traits under salinity stress , normal and across locations. Meanwhile, significant G x L, parent x L and cross x L were significant for all studied trails except peduncle leaf. Interaction between GCA or SCA and location MS were significant for all studied traits. the ratio between GCA/ SCA were more than unity for all traits except, flag leaf angle in salinity stress, normal condition and combined analysis, as well as relative water content in normal condition and combined analysis. P2 (Shandwel 1) exhibited significant positive ĝi effects for flag leaf area ,peduncle leaf and relative water content in both and cross location and total chlorophyll in Ras-sudr location ,indicating that (Shandwel 1)could be considered as a good combiner for this trails. The most desirable inter and intra allelic interactions were presented by P3 x P4 for flag leaf angle, P3 x P10 for flag leaf area; P7 x P8 for peduncle leaf; P1 x P10 for relative water content and P2 x P5 for total chlorophyll exhibited significant positive effects.
