Abstract:

The spatial communication units represent the main factor that constitutes the formulation of the spatial determinants of the architectural space resulting from the digital design process in the era of information technology. Communication units adopt several design methods that differ in the visual and formation images that result from them in the formulation of visual images and the overall composition of the architectural space. The research paper deals with the concept and characteristics of each unit of the spatial communication units and the methods that achieve the formulation of the architectural space when used. The Research depends on a methodology consists of literature review and analytical study. The analytical examples were selected according to specific criteria were used to illustrate how to apply each method of achieving spatial communication units in formulating the spatial determinants within the architectural space to determine the effect of each method on the resulting architectural space.
