Abstract:

Histopathological changes associating trichinosis were studied on 40 Trichnellainfected pigs ,slaughtered in EL-Basateenabattoir.Thepresense of encysted larvae enhanced inflammatory tissue reaction around , in the form of cellular infiltration , granuloma like reaction, leading to skeletal muscle necrotic foci and degeneration .The more the intensity of infection , the severer was the histopathological changes within the skeletal muscles.Pathological changes detected in the cardiac muscle ,kidney,and liver may be due to the passage of larvae and …………… immunological reactions evoked by the parasite
