Abstract:

The study aimed to identifythe effectiveness of usingWeb Quests in developing some logical thinking skills and academic achievement motivation among mathematics department students at Tabuk university, The study sample consisted of (35) students fourth –year mathematics department, University College of Umlooj - Tabuk university - Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia (KSA) ,The researcher prepared the list of logical thinking skills included (Prepositional Reasoning- Controlling Variables- Correlational Reasoning - Probabilistic Reasoning - Combinatorial Reasoning), and the preparation of the study tools (logical thinking test,(Tobin & Capie.1980)- Academic achievement motivation Scale). The researcher regulated study tools statistically, and then applied pre-study tools on the study group. Moreover, she teaching the instructional content by using Web Quests to the study group and applied to the study tools on the study group after teaching. Hence, she collected and statistical analyzed of the data,the study found the following: • Effectiveness of using Web Quests in developing some logical thinking skills and academic achievement motivation among mathematics department students in Tabuk University (group of the study). • There is a positive, strong relationship and statistically significant between logical thinking skills and achievement motivation among mathematics department students in Tabuk university (group of the study).
