Abstract:

Long Term Evolution (LTE) has emerged as a comprehensive evolution of the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS). In this paper, a Quality of Service (QoS)-guaranteed cross-layer resource allocation algorithm for multiclass services in LTE system is proposed. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can provide better behavior for QoS-based services than other previous resource allocation algorithms. KEYWORDS — LTE; QoS; OFDM; Cross-Layer scheduling algorithms; GBR; Non-GBR.
