Abstract:

We have investigated the changes in the levels of certain blood parameters: se I urn glucose, _cho lest etn1,_ lipopz ot °ins (1 DL- & 1-1DI.,--c11olesterol), triglycerides, urea oir_rogen, crea.rinine, calcium, urir, acid, totol proteins, albumin, total bilirubin, alkaline phosphat Ise and tmnsaminases (MOT, SGPT). All parameters were measured, after 7-6 hrs. Fasting period, before and after 21 days of Ramadan fasting as well as after 21 days post-Ramadan in adult healthy subjects of both sexes (ri = 33) of (12-54 years) old.
