Abstract:

The aim of the present work is to investigate a theoretical model seeking the fabrication technique used in this work which is the stirring method followed by the squeeze casting technique. In this analysis, it is assumed that the reinforcement particulates have a spherical shape and a uniform size. The present work develops a mathematical model that predicts the distribution of nickel particulates inside (AA6063) matrix alloy. The model demonstrates the relationship between the wt. fractions of the reinforcement and fabrication pressures. The optimum reinforcing particulates are investigated using kinematic analysis of the grain pattern.
