Abstract:

The paper shows the results of efficiency simulations for the Hydrid on basis of the NEDC. The Hydrid is a fully hydraulic drive line concept for passenger cars using a hydraulic accumulator as secondary power supply. The constant pump which is directly connected to the combustion engine results in high torque and high efficiency for the primary power supply. Consumed fuel and emitted CO2 are reduced significantly by the implementation of the introduced hydraulic Hybrid.
