Abstract:

Today, information technology and efficient communication are the most important aspect, which gives a real picture for the development of every nation. The use of electronic management system eliminates manual administration of certain business processes, which helps the organization improve the quality of its products and services. The result of which is increased satisfaction for the customers. In addition, for the organization, there will be reduced costs, improved productivity and increase in revenues. It will also help the executive managers, decision makers, investors, employers and employees empower themselves in every aspect of their business. The manual processes application in any organization may create some problems that cause delay in the processing and implementation of projects, bending works, consuming time, losing information and archiving security. To avoid these problems, there is a need to re-organize and set-up a new quality management system to improve the existing key processes within the organization. However, this study will define the obstacles that affect the overall performance in the management process of a hospital specifically in the Operations Department (Logistics, Utilities and Maintenance, Information, Communications, Contracts Mgt., Fire, Finance and Projects Task Force). It will also create a model that can help to build operation management software (OMS) for monitoring and controlling the quality management process in the Operations Department. Likewise, this study evaluates the new E-management quality system aspects and its impact in each department
