Abstract:

Handball is one of the competitive sports activities that are characterized by the variable movement performance between two teams, in addition to being full of many situations and psychological pressures that are characterized by severity and speed of change, which would affect the skill and planning performance of the player and then on the outcome of the match and therefore it was necessary for coaches early planning To develop the psychological skills of the handball player in order to enable them to achieve victory in the competitions in addition to their physical, skill and linear numbers, and there is no doubt that psychological skills represent an important dimension in the preparation of players as they play a fundamental role in the development of performance, and it has become seen as one of the variables that must be taken care of along with Along with the physical, skill and planning requirements, the athletic champions at the international level converge to a large extent in terms of physical, skill and planning level. The psychological factor determines the outcome of the players during the competition as it plays a major role in achieving victory. The researcher used the descriptive approach (the survey), and the sample size reached ( 14) players in order to test the psychological and skills necessary to reach the percentage of psychological variables' contribution to The performance of the skills under study, and the most important results were the different percentages of the contribution of the psychological variables under study in the level of skill performance (passing from the pivot, receiving from the movement, passing from running, dribbling the ball, shooting high jump, defensive movement and launching a blitz, blocking wall).
