Abstract:

Badminton is one of the sports that has established itself not only as a sport practiced by players and professionals, but also by beginners, students, and all age groups as a competitive, educational, or recreational activity. The basic skills in badminton are the important and effective basis for learning this sport. It is not possible to progress and develop in the game except after acquiring a basic foundation of these skills and advancing them to reach the competitive form, and differentiated learning or learning through (repetition without repetition), is the trainer’s response to the diverse learning needs of the learner within the unit. It is education that aims to raise the level of all learners , not learners who face learning problems, and differentiated learning is an education that aims to raise the level of all students by providing an appropriate educational environment for all students using teaching methods that allow for the diversity of tasks and educational outcomes by preparing and planning lessons according to the principles of differentiated education. The researcher used the experimental method using the experimental design for two groups, the first experimental and the second control, and using the pre-post measurement for the two groups. On a sample of second-year female students at the Faculty of Physical Education in Benha for the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022 AD, where the basic sample size amounted to (40) female students for the experimental and control groups, with 20 female students in each group. The most important results were that the proposed program using differentiated learning had a positive impact on the basic skills of badminton beginners, and that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the post-measurements of the experimental and control groups in learning some basic skills in badminton, in favor of the averages of the post-measurements of the experimental group.
