Abstract:

Small-sided games are games with simplified rules and conditions, in a small area and with a small number of players. They have many objectives, such as preparatory objectives when they contribute to preparing and conditioning the player and when they are used in the warm-up process at the beginning of the training unit. Educational objectives when their goal is to teach a specific skill by the coach. Training objectives when they aim to train on skills or plans that have been previously learned. Recreational goals when they aim to escape from high loads and intensive training and are also used in conclusion and entertainment for players and competitive goals if they are in a competitive framework to determine the winner and loser, and mini-matches provide juniors to play in a competitive atmosphere and under the pressure of a competitor, which shows the true level of the bud, and mini-matches are characterized by the factors of suspense and excitement, which is the secret of the enthusiasm to play hockey In addition, it presents him with many situations that occur within the match, and thus he has to deal with the situation he is placed in. It accustoms him to good behavior during the situations he is exposed to in the match. The researcher used the experimental method because it is appropriate to the nature of the research by using the experimental design for two groups, experimental and control, and by using (pre-post) measurement. On a sample of hockey buds under (12) years old at the Sadat Youth Center in Zagazig City - Sharqia, numbering (40) buds (20 buds as an experimental sample, 20 buds as a control sample), the researcher also chose (10) buds under (12) years old in the exploratory study so that the total research sample would be (50) buds, and the most important results were that the proposed program using mini-matches had a positive impact on the basic skills of field hockey buds. There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the post-measurements of the experimental and control groups in learning some basic hockey skills, in favor of the averages of the post-measurements of the experimental group.
