Table tennis is one of the most popular team games because it is characterized by enthusiasm, excitement and suspense among its practitioners and fans everywhere in the world. The game has developed significantly from what it was in the past and has become an industry. Most clubs in the Arab Republic of Egypt, if not all of them, have turned to establishing table tennis academies to teach youngsters and juniors the skills and arts of table tennis. And receiving large numbers of them and working on refining and developing them and providing them with basic skills to be the nucleus of clubs to benefit from them in the future. Table tennis academies aim to select the best elements at an early age and expand the base of buds and juniors, and teach buds basic skills and how to perform them appropriately and know the rules and laws of tennis and develop leadership and subordination among them by applying the scientific method in training buds. As well as raising the physical, skill, tactical, psychological and cultural level of the young players in table tennis. The researcher used the descriptive approach with the survey method because it is suitable for the nature of the research and its objectives. On a sample of (90) individuals from the trainers and administrators in the academies of the governorates (Cairo - Giza - Qalyubia - Menoufia), The most important results were the weakness of the planning process in some academies, the lack of clear goals and plans for some academies, the lack of criteria for selecting trainers for some academies, the lack of planned training programs within some academies, and the lack of a marketing plan within some academies. |
