Abstract:

Recently, frequency hopping have been widely involved in many applications such as the personal communications services and the wireless networks. Digital Signal Processors( DSP) devices are widely adopted in the applications of digital communications. They are typically well suited for the evolving technology of Software Defined Radios (SDR) due to their programmability. In this paper, we present the architecture and implementation of embedded SDR wireless frequency hopping transceiver. We will give an insight into the Matlab simulation and the embedded SDR DSP implementation. The performance of the proposed transceiver is evaluated via the bit error rate calculations.
