| Abstract: |
Background Nurses play a significant role in palliative care as the only 24-hour caregivers in the health care system. Aim To study the impact of palliative care training programs on nurses' perceived self-efficacy and stress. Design A quasi-experimental research design was used. Methods The subjects enrolled in this research were 50 nurses working in the medical ward, surgical ward, and critical care units at Benha University Hospital. Results The findings revealed that the related mean total self-efficacy scores at pre-and postintervention were 26.79±8.37 and 37.50±7.63, respectively, with a significantly large difference at p-value |
