Abstract:

Interest is growing at present To develop and diversify meat production sources The purpose of the research is to shed light on the most important determinants of rabbit production in the province of Qalyubia to help solve the meat crisis in Egypt. The study deals with four parts. The first part deals with the statistical and economic analysis of the production of rabbit farms in the villages of the sample. The second part deals with the cost structure of the sample farms, while the third part deals with the statistical and economic analysis of the costs and revenues of the sample farms. The fourth part deals with the most important indicators and criteria of production efficiency during the study period. 1. Statistical and economic analysis of rabbit production data: It is clear that the most productive factors affecting the production of rabbits in the farms of the village of Meet Kenana during the study period, it is clear that increasing the quantity used of the size of trained labor and the number of rabbits used by the unit size and the stability of other factors affecting the production lead to an increase in production. As for the rabbit farms in the village of the monastery It is clear that increasing the amount of feed used and the number of trained workers per unit, with the stability of other factors affecting production lead to an increase in production 2. Statistical and economic analysis of the production costs of the farms of the study: The most productive factors affecting the production costs of the rabbit farms were the costs of nutrition, medicines and disinfectants, veterinary care, rabbits, human labor, and total production functions. The total cost of the crops was 1.06 tons in the village of Meet Kenana. It turns out that the volume below the cost is 1.06 tons 3. Indicators of economic efficiency of the study farms: By estimating standards and standards of efficiency when calculating and estimating the criteria of the cost benefit ratio in the rabbit farms in the village of Meet Kenana, it was found to be about 1.18, and the percentage of benefits for the costs of the rabbit farms in the village of the monastery about 1.99 and found that the values are greater than the correct one for each farmer, meaning that these farms economically feasible for breeders .
