Abstract:

In this paper, the design of a wideband cross polarization converter is presented. The surface is composed by anisotropic unit cells have three resonances at 17.9, 32.8, and 48.4 GHz. The unit cell has 100% cross polarization conversion efficiency from 15 to 52GHz. Furthermore, the same unit cell is further used to compose a cheeseboard-like metasurface for monostatic radar cross section reduction. The proposed design has been fabricated and measurement is currently being carried out.
