Abstract:

In this paper we study the dependence of nucleon mass on pion and quark masses using lattice simulations of chiral perturbation theory and the predictions of the quantum chromo-dynamics. An examination is performed on hopping parameter, assumed by equations based on Vector Ward Identities. The values of the hopping parameter were chosen to produce the mass of the pseudoscalar meson, quark masses, and the meson decay constant. The values of such constants which are predicted by chiral perturbation theory compared with different world collaborations and gives suitable values. Such lattice calculations and the obtained values is performed using Nf =2 and Nf =2+1 flavor. The effect of quark masses on masses of the pseudoscalar meson mps, in the range 250-450 MeV and on the decay constant , for π-mesons are investigated. The dependence on the number of flavors Nf = 2 and Nf =2+1 are concerned in these effect. The physical values for octet baryon masses are described by a by a linear fitting with pion mass in the range 156-410 MeV and with quark mass in the range 3-24 MeV.
