Abstract:

50 skin scraping were taken from each cattle admitted to Faculty of Veterinary Medicine ,Benha Branch, Zagazig university , Egypt, as well as 20 samples were collected from the skin of human contact with these animals.The percentage of T. verrucosum var. discoides isolated from cattles were 20 cases (40%) . The percentage of T. verrucosum var. discoides isolated from individual cases occupational contact with cattle were 12 cases(60%). In conclusion, WBCs counts were found to be 5.5 Thos./UL at time zero, and were increased to 26.4 after 10 days during treatment ,then increased to 59.2 Thos./UL after 10 days of daily treatment, but the count was decreased to 35.1Thos./ UL when the cattle was clinically cured. By using G-CSF the results were surprising and astonishing in quick and complete cure.
