Abstract:

Objective: the ability of SUPAR (soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor) to evaluate sepsis and predict mortality in critically ill children in pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Methods: the study included 70 critically ill children admitted to PICU , divided into two groups group (A)(critically ill children with sepsis)& group (B) (critically ill children without sepsis(SIRS)) compared to matched age ,sex 30 healthy children as a control group.
