Abstract:

methodologiessuchas thehybridGrey-basedTaguchiprocess.Thedesired attributes for high-qualityweldswere established as having high tensile strength, hardness, andalowrateofcorrosion.Giventhepresenceof three responses and one objective, the hybridGrey-based Taguchi method is employed.Thestatisticalapproacheshaveconvergedonoptimalparameters of120A, 20V, and15L/min.Thepresent analysis reveals that the ideal weldedjunctionexhibitedthefollowingcharacteristics:atensilestrengthof 190.169MPa, ahardnessvalueof77HV, andacorrosionrateof0.29mm. Thecurrentparameterwasfoundtohavethehighestcontribution, accounting for 65.66%of the overall performance of theweldments. Confirmatory testingwasconductedinorder toconfirmtheoptimizationstrategy, andthe findingsindicatedthat theGrey-basedTaguchi techniqueisastraightforward yet effective approach for optimizingwelded connections across several performancecriteria.
