study we compared the results of total serum lipids, nglecerides, Cholesterol, HDLc, LDLc, Lipid peroxidation products oi Platelet aggregation using ADP, and Collagen in cases with -Tel-tension with pregnancy, and preeclainptic cases to normal kl:o.nant females.The study was done on 20 females from each pregnant groups:- -Normotensive group ( I ).-Hypertensive group (Ii ).-Preeclamptic group ( III ).There was significant increase in the level of serum total lipids,in ;$41 in the level of triglyceride in the hypertensive g nnotensiv roup ( II ) group, andit< preeclamptic group( III) as compared to the noe 11 as ignificant increase in the level of serum total lipids,■ as well lee level of triglycerides in the preeclamptic group ( II )Id in the as•:i:,inpared to the hypertensive group ( II )•There was significant decrease in ’ the level of cholesteroeclampticl, HDLc, pid LDLc in the hypertensive group ( II) and in the pre 7ottp ( III ) as compared to the nonnotensive group ( )but but t chere *is non-significant decrease in the cholesterol, HDLc ansive groupd LDL inoe preeclamptic group ( Ill ) as compared to the hypertenThere was significant increase in the lipid peroxidation products1 ).the hypertensive group ( II ) and in thepreeclamptic group ( III ) as Iarned to the normotensive group ( I ), as well as significant ,,rease in the lipid peroxidation products in the preeclaniptic group M) as compared to the hypertensive group ( II ).There was non-significant increase in platelet aggregation using DP as aggregating agent in the studied groups, but there was -,Inificant increase in the platelet aggregation using collagen as ;gregating agent only in the preeclamptic group ( III) as comparedsive .the nonnoteng-roup ( I ) and to the hypertensive group ( (II)I’lit there was non-significant increase in I ).the hypertensive group IIlS’ compared to the normotensive group (Increased dietary fatty acid iso associated with increase risk of1..reeclampsia and increase platelet aggregation . There is imbalance between lipid peroxidation and serurn vitamin in preeclampsia and eclampsia, and well correlated with systolic iid diastolic blood pressure.
