Non Malignant Tumours Of Breast:

This work deals with the study of the incidence of ”Benign Tumours of Breast” in a series of 70 cases admitted to Kasr El-Rini Hospital in the period between October 1978 to May 1979.The pathological findings were correlated with the clinical features. The relative incidence of the various pathological lesions in different age groups were discussed. Comparison was made between the relative incidence of benign tumours of the breast in our study and the study done by other authors. from comparison we conclude that the incidence of fibroadenomas and fibrocystic disease were the same and both were the most common accounting for 30 of total cases followed by duct ectasia, duct papilloma and cystosarcoma phylloides.
