Abstract:

In this paper, study the performance of PV with maximum power point Tracking (MPPT) is present. The system is study the different control techniques as: conventional perturb and observe (P&O) method with fixed and variable perturbation step, P&O with conventional PI controller, incremental conductance (IC) method with fixed and variable perturbation step, and IC based on Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC). The comparison criteria between the algorithms are considered to be: the percentage tracking factor, the ripple voltage in the steady-state, the dynamic response, and the complexity of the implementation. To investigate, these comparisons are criteria and selecting the best technique of MPPT for standalone PV system.
