Prof.Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communication received Benha University delegation under auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President to study establishing Digital Innovation Training Center . Benha University delegation also included Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs and Dr. Hala Helmy Zayed , the dean of Computer and Artificial Intelligence Faculty.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in partnership with Cisco Global Corporation (Cisco Systems) are announcing for (the Initiative of Cybersecurity by Using Distance Learning) to enhance the digital culture of dealing with data and using the Internet safely, in a way that contributes to strength the protection of personal data and privacy when using social media via the Internet.

Dr Amr Tallat , minister of Telecommunication and Information technology witnessed activities of the organized workshop by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) at the smart village. The workshop was held in presence of Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President and Dr Hala Helmy Zayed , Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence dean . The workshop was under the title of "The 5th Generation opportunities and Challenges" and it discussed the way to apply the digital services in Egypt according to the governmental plan to improve the submitted services to citizens. NTI Institute plays important role in submitting the required training to 5000 trainers at the end of 2021 and raising citizens' awareness about using digital services and its importance nowadays

Benha University has activated the cooperation between Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Benha University and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ministry of Communication and Information Technology which aims to motivate , improve and develop students and form their abilities at communication and information technology . Training program for students at Benha University starts in the period from (7 to 12) of September 2019 from 9:00 Am to 6:00 Pm. This program is only attended by students at the following faculties; Engineering, Computers and artificial intelligence and Faculty of Commerce at information Systems department. Prof.Dr. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president urges that the alumni should have three main skills: languages, computers skills and communication skills. The university president stresses that the university provided low-costed courses in the languages center for the students and the faculties' members alike. This statement concurs with the workshop that is held on Thursday, 26-1-2017. This workshop is among a group of workshops held for the first forum of the Egyptian universities to develop the educational process. This forum will be held from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017 under the auspices of prof.Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, the minister of higher education, Prof.Dr. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Ibrahim Ragah, the head of the projects development unit in the university and the deputy of community service and environment development in the faculty of medicine. The workshop is attended by prof.Dr. El-Syed Fouda, the den of the faculty of law, prof.Dr. Muhammad Mansur, the deputy of community service and environment development in the faculty of law and prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the university's president's chancellor of the stduents activities.

On Tuesday, 22-11-2016, the final ceremony was held to honor the winners in “Tamkin 3” contest under the auspices of the ministry of communications and information technology. Eng/ Yasser EL-Kady, the minister of communications and information technology honors Dr. Islam EL-Sharawy by giving him the second prize for his invention of the «Acoustic shield».

Engineering Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities has approved to establish three new programs at Faculty of Engineering Shoubra where Prof. Dr. Sayed El Kady, the former dean has been succeeded to establish three new programs as following; Communication & Computers, Electrical Engineering and Control and Management of Engineering Sites. The established programs will serve the community and cope with modern technologies which serve the coming generation. He mentioned also that, these programs will serve our country in its projects which support the national income.
