The Ministry of Higher Education announced about starting apply for training programs for workers in the information technology sector in higher education institutions, in cooperation with Huawei Egypt, in vital fields that includes; Big Data, AI, Cloud Computing, Data com, Security, Access Network and 5G.The training program aims to raise the capabilities of workers in the information technology sector in higher education institutions, keep pace with rapid developments in the fields of information and communications technology, as well as meet the needs of the labor market and enhance scientific research and development skills, noting that an initial test will be held to determine the extent of applicants' familiarity with the basic principles at networks, operating systems and databases.

Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy has launched a new course of Training of Trainers program (TOT) which organized by Faculty and Leadership Development Project (FLDP).

The Faculty and Leadership Development Center "FLDC" at Benha University organized a training course about "Laboratory Safety" withing the training programs provided by the Center during current September. There are five preliminary workshops as preparation of the first Arab forum of the faculty and leadership development center. These workshops targets the classification of the curriculums, distributes them over three-days of the training, the determining the needs of the faculties' members, the teaching assistants, the post-graduate studies and the employees in addition to putting forwards many suggestions to develop the training organization as whole.

In the frame of providing accredited training services in the field of IT to the stduents, the faculties' members, the employees and the surrounding community of Benha University, it has been approved to establish two branches of Microsoft IT Academy in the university and the faculty of engineering-Shubra.
