  • Student Union is the legal representative which enables students to practice their various activities.
  •  Union is formulated from faculty students who enrolled to get bachelor's degree and paid tuition fees.
  • Foreign students have the right to practice all Union activities without the right of election or nomination.

Formation of Students Union Council:

Responsibilities of Faculty Union Council:

  • Formulating the policy of Union in the light of programs which provided by the committees.
  • Adopting the programs of Union Council Committees and following up its implementation.
  • Distributing the financial allocations among committees and putting the annual budget of the Council and its committees.
  • Adopting the final accounts of Union.
  • Coordinating between committees of Union Council.
  • Enhancing the relationship between Students Union at other faculties.
  • Electing the secretary and assistant secretary for the Union Council.

Formation of Committees:

Each Committee of the Union is formulated annually as following:

  • Leader must be from faculty members (by decree of faculty dean).
  • The committee must include two elected students from each stage by secret ballot.
  • Members of each committee and the assistant secretary must be elected by students.
  • Representative of technical staff for faculty Youth Care must attend meetings of committees.

Application for Nomination and Opinion Poll Form:

Conditions must be in Nominee:

  • Must be Egyptian
  • Must be  a well-mannered person
  • Must be a regular and success student
  • Must be a student from who paid fees of Union
  • Must be an active one in the field of committee

Procedures of Nomination:

  • Application for nomination and opinion poll form must be submitted to faculty Youth Care Administration.
  • After fulfill of all data, it must be submitted to faculty Youth Care Administration.
  • The faculty will revise all data of nominees and rule out all contrary to the conditions of nomination.
  • Nominees list who meet the conditions will be announced.

Election Results:

  • Holding elections and announcing results on time.
  • Union councils and its committees are elected annually at the end of November. Detailed dates of elections for various levels are determined by President of the University. If student has no ID or not registered, he/she has not the right to vote.
  • At least 50% of registered students must attend elections.
  • Elections must be delayed to another date during three days if the number is not complete. In that case, 20% of registered students must attend elections.
  • If the number is not complete this time, representative of each stage must be appoint.
  • If the Student Union Council can not to formulate, faculty dean must appoint a council from excellence and eligible student for nomination to manage affairs of Union.
  • Leader of the Union Council or his/her committee responsible for preparing the agenda, calling for meeting, managing the session, and following up the implementation of decisions.
  • Leader of the Union Council or his/her committee responsible for informing agent faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Dean of faculty, and Vice-president for Education and Student Affairs about decisions.
