Benha University got several medals at the 1st competition of the African Universities Youth Week which was held in the period from 19 to 25 of October 2019. The week was held by participation of 22 African countries and 24 Egyptian Universities. Benha University participated at the week under auspices of Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President and Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' affairs. Dr Musbah El Kehily , the General Manger of Youth Care department said that Benha university students achieved a great success and medals at the following activities ;the student Amna Abd El Aziz from faculty of Commerce got the 1st place and the golden medal at singing and the student Abd El Kahliq Sharawy from faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence got the 3rd place and the bronze medal at recycling plastic project

Benha University participates at the 6th Cairo international Exhibition for Innovation under auspices of Prof.Dr.Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President. The Exhibition is organized by Scientific Research and Technology Academy for the 6th year. Dr Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President and Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' affairs witnessed a ceremony on the occasion of October victory No 46 in presence of Dr Khalid Essawy , the General coordinator of students activities , deans and students . El Saeed assured in his word that our army refused the defeat in 1967 and all Egyptian people refused that defeat and insisted on war to free our land and take back our honor and to learn the following generations sacrifice, persistence, patience and there is no impossible .At the end of the ceremony El Saeed honored heroes of the war such as; Ahmed Edris, Henedy Mohdy, Ali Abd El Ghany, Adel Morgan and Mohammed Nour El Din

Dr Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President announced that Benha University has achieved a new achievement at the World University Rankings to be among the best 500 University on the World according to the Times Ranking 2020. Prof.Dr Gamal El Saeed congratulated all the staff, employees and workers on the occasion of the new achievement and hopes more achievements and progress on the local and universal level. Dr Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President received Dr Nasser El Shimy , Professor of Geometrics at University of Calegary Alberta in Canada. The meeting was held in presence of Prof.Dr Nasser El Gezawy , the Supervisor on Cultural and International relations at The University , Dr Karim El Dalsah , the Academic Manager of El Obour Branch and Dr Amr Hanfy . El Saeed assured that Benha University seeks to keep in touch with Egyptian scientists at foreign Universities to benefit from their great experience at all fields and that is among the University vision to be opened on all the world Universities. Prof.Dr Khalid Abd El Ghaffar , minister of High Education and Scientific Research issued a new decree to appoint four general managers at Benha University as following ; Mahammed Sayed Mahammed as the secretary of Faculty of Law for one year , Soliman Ahmed Soliman as the General manager for Planning at the University for one year , Soliman Abdu Abd El Naby as the General manager for Education Affairs at the University and Ayman Bayoumy Mahammad as the general manager of purchases and stores for one year.

Dr Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President issued a new decree to appoint Dr Mahammed Mokhattar Mahammed as the deputy of Education and Students Affairs at Faculty of Science, Dr Mona Mahmoud Zaza was appointed as the deputy of Community Service and Environment Affairs at Faculty of Education , Dr Ahmed El Maghawry was appointed as the deputy of Education and Students Affairs at Faculty of Physical Education, Khalid Saeed Ibrahim was appointed as the deputy of Community services and Environment Affairs at Faculty ofPhysical Education and Dr Mustafa El Gahrib was appointed as the acting deputy of Post Graduate Studies at faculty of Arts.El Saeed hopes for them best wishes and great success at their new positions.

A workshop about how to use the Egyptian Knowledge Bank will be held in the period from 27-28102019 at Faculty of Commerce, the Conferences hall at 10:00am.The workshop will be held under auspices of Dr Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President in the frame of cooperation between Benha University and the Digital Library Unit at the Supreme Council of Universities .The workshop aims to raise the level of benefits from the available information at the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
