There is 67 projects compete to win three awards at the closing ceremony of this event.

It has been agreed to sign a protocol between Benha University and Kyutech institute in Japan which is considered one of the best three institutes in space field in order to set up a new curriculum at the faculty of engineering and the students study space-related sciences for four years and they spend the fifth grade in the Japanese institute.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president visits the faculty of engineering in the University of Mikazaki during his visit to Japan. EL-Kady holds several meetings with the faculty's dean, the departments' heads as he discusses the ways of cooperation between the university and the Mikazaki University in the field of renewable energy in addition to visiting the faculty's lab and solar- energy -generating station. The University president is accompanied by prof.Dr. Ragab Megahed and prof.Dr. Ayman Samir Farid.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the University president visits the University of Kajusima in japan and he meets the University's president and the deans of the faculties of agriculture, veterinary medicine, engineering and the international cooperation officials. EL-Kady discusses the ways of cooperation in the research proposals, the students' exchange in addition to the professors' in Kajusima University visit to the faculty of arts in Benha University to teach in the Japanese department. EL-Kady agrees with the president of the Japanese University to sign a comprehensive scientific protocol between the two Universities. It has been agreed to form 3 teams to supervise the strategic plan of Benha University in the fields of post-graduate studies and the computerization of the University, the field of the students and alumni, the governance of the institutional performance and the continuous development and increasing the resources and the university's capacity to accommodate more students. The teams are presided by prof.Dr. Alaa Amin, the former dean of the faculty of science, prof.Dr. Ibrahim Fouda, the dean of the faculty of education and prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the acting dean of the faculty of specific education.
