Student Exchange under the Erasmus Program: Researcher from Benha University Receives a Semester at the University of Alicante, Spain

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that researcher Fahmy Adel Farouk, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, has been awarded a full semester at the University of Alicante in Spain, as part of the academic cooperation and student exchange programs under Erasmus+.
Prof. El-Gizawy indicated that this participation aligns with Benha University's efforts to expand and enhance its international relationships and partnerships, and to support student exchange programs that provide students with opportunities for learning, training, and interaction with international educational and research institutions.
The researcher will study a number of interdisciplinary and advanced courses in the field of chemistry, including smart and advanced polymer chemistry, environmental chemistry and pollutant treatment, and sustainable green chemistry, as well as several specialized topics in advanced organic chemistry and applied organic chemistry, such as detergent chemistry and modern analytical chemistry.
He will also participate in research activities in collaboration with several faculty members at the university through a specialized research project on smart polymers.
