Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and President of Benha University Inspected Military and National Education Lectures to Enhance Loyalty, Belonging, and National Awareness among Egyptian University Students

Major General Hisham Hosny Hassan, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, and Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, attended the awareness lecture for male students of the 147th Military Education Course and female students of the 35th National Education Course, organized by the Popular and Military Defense Forces in collaboration with Benha University. This initiative is part of the state's efforts to enhance national awareness and instill values of belonging among youth.
The seminar featured a lecture by Major General Hafez Mahmoud, a national security expert, titled "National Security and Development After the June 30 Revolution," where he discussed the challenges facing the Egyptian state and the efforts for comprehensive development across various sectors.
The event was attended by:
• Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research;
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development;
• Colonel Mohamed Yousri, Assistant Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces;
• Colonel Ahmed Mokhtar El-Qadi, Military Advisor to Kalyobiya Governorate;
• Colonel Hafez Ibrahim, Director of the Military Education Department;
• Deans and vice deans of faculties;
• Several academic and administrative leaders at the university.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that the Popular and Military Defense Forces play an important national role within Egyptian universities by contributing to the development of students' personalities and enhancing values of loyalty, belonging, discipline, and responsibility. This contributes to preparing a conscious generation capable of facing challenges and actively participating in the path of development and construction.
The President of the university stated that the visit of the Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces represents strong support for the university's efforts to develop national awareness among its students and embodies the fruitful cooperation between various state institutions in serving the nation and building the Egyptian citizen. He noted the state's commitment to empowering youth and preparing them for active participation in building the new republic.
