Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, witnessed the signing of cooperation protocols between Bedaya Company for Marketing Benha University Services (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Benha University) and the Faculty of Agriculture, as well as with Al-Salam International Company for Agricultural Investment. Another protocol was signed with the Global Youth Authority in Benha, as part of efforts to support collaboration between the university and the private and community sectors.
The protocols were signed:
• on behalf of Bedaya Company by Prof. Mostafa Rashid, the Executive Director of the company;
• on behalf of the Faculty of Agriculture by Prof. Sayed Khater, the Dean of the Faculty;
• on behalf of Al-Salam International Company by Eng. Mahmoud El-Sayed, Chairman of the Board;
• on behalf of the Global Youth Authority by Counselor Mostafa Abdel Hamid, Chairman of the Board.
The event was attended by:
• Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research;
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development;
• Mrs. Sherine Shawky, the University Secretary-General.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that these protocols are part of the university's strategy to enhance cooperation with various institutions, contributing to the service of students and researchers, opening new horizons for training and development, and supporting the university's role in serving the local community. He also pointed out that the university aims, through these partnerships, to link scientific research with the actual needs of the agricultural and community sectors.
Prof. Mostafa Rashid, Prof. Sayed Khater, Eng. Mahmoud El-Sayed, and Counselor Mostafa Abdel Hamid explained that cooperation with Bedaya Company for Marketing Benha University Services and Al-Salam International Company, on one hand, and with the Global Youth Authority, on the other hand, represents an important step towards developing training and research programs for students, aligning with the requirements of the labor market, and connecting pre-university education outcomes with university education.
