President of Benha University Affirms Commitment to Providing a Safe and Stable Educational Environment

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, met with students residing in the university dormitories in Moshtohor. The meeting was attended by prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Sayed Abdel Wanis, General Supervisor of University Dormitories; Dr. Abdelkader Abdel Karim, General Coordinator of Administrative Quality; Dr. Ashraf Abdel Tawab, Supervisor of Benha Dormitory; Mr. Refaat Nan, Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative Affairs; Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development; Mr. Mohamed Diab, Assistant Secretary-General for Financial Affairs; Dr. Awad Suleiman, General Director of Dormitories; and dormitory directors.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that university dormitories are not merely places of residence but serve as comprehensive environments that provide students with high-quality services in nutrition, housing, medical care, and social support—making them a “second home” for non-resident students.
He stressed the importance of instilling positive societal and ethical values among students and preserving Egyptian identity on campus. He warned of the dangers posed by negative content on social media, which can affect young people's minds, academic performance, and future prospects. He urged students to verify information sources before sharing and to confront such challenges with awareness and responsibility, reminding them that they are the leaders of tomorrow.
Prof. El-Gizawy highlighted the vital role of academic advisors in guiding students, helping them overcome academic and personal difficulties, and directing them to available support services—enabling them to achieve their academic and professional goals. He reaffirmed the university's commitment to providing a safe and stable educational environment.
He also underscored the importance of student participation in university events and activities, which foster talent, encourage healthy competition, and build responsibility and self-confidence, ultimately preparing distinguished youth capable of excelling in diverse fields.
At the conclusion of the event, prof. El-Gizawy and his colleagues honored outstanding students who excelled in cultural, artistic, social, and athletic activities. They also recognized dormitory directors for their efforts in achieving the integrated system of quality, occupational safety, health, and environmental management for the dormitory sector—an accomplishment attained for the first time, reflecting the university's commitment to excellence and competitiveness at all levels.
