Benha University Organizes the Fifth Annual Postgraduate Conference in Applied Sciences, May 2026

In line with Benha University's support for scientific research and its commitment to enhancing the role of postgraduate studies in addressing sustainable development issues, the university announces the organization of the Fifth Annual Postgraduate Conference in Applied Sciences (PGASC 2026).
Under the slogan "Applied Sciences in the Service of a Smart, Healthy, and Sustainable Future," the conference will feature an elite group of academics, researchers, and specialists from various universities and research institutions.
Dates: Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5–6, 2026
Venue:Prof.Dr. Hossam Al-Attar Hall, at the University's Obour City branch.
The conference is held under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University. It is under the scientific and organizational supervision of the university's leadership, with Prof. Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, serving as the Conference President. The conference will see active participation from deans and vice deans of faculties, notably Prof. Dr. Hisham Rashid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research and the Conference Coordinator.
The conference addresses a range of themes in the fields of medical and health sciences, engineering and computer sciences, basic sciences, and environmental and agricultural sciences. It will focus on smart applications, digital transformation, and sustainable solutions for community service. Additionally, activities will support innovation and entrepreneurship for postgraduate students across various applied disciplines.
Benha University invites postgraduate students and researchers from within and outside the university to participate by submitting their research papers and scientific abstracts for the conference events. Registration is conducted electronically via the official conference website, PGASC, according to the specified deadlines for abstracts and full papers.
