President of Benha University: 4,312 Citizens Made Literate During November

Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the University succeeded in making 4,312 learners literate according to the results for November 2025, as announced by the General Authority for Adult Education.
"El-Gizawy" confirmed that the university places great importance on the literacy file and undertakes the implementation of the project through its human cadres of faculty members and students, to eradicate illiteracy among citizens of Qalyubia Governorate under the supervision of university specialists and project participants.
The University President pointed out that emphasis has been placed on utilizing the university's capabilities and leveraging its capacities to support state plans and participate in the national project for eradicating illiteracy and adult education. This falls within the framework of the role of the university's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in serving the local community and monitoring the implementation of the state's plan to declare "Egypt free of illiteracy," achieving the goals of the sustainable development plan "Egypt's Vision 2030."
For his part, Prof.Dr. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that the university is keen to participate in the national literacy campaign adopted by the state, with the involvement of a number of scientific and literary colleges at the university. This stems from belief in the role of the university, its colleges, and its research centers in participating in community service and environmental development by contributing to national issues, foremost of which is the issue of illiteracy due to the real dangers it poses to the growth and development of Egyptian society.
