 Benha University's Faculty of Applied Arts Participated in Ministry of Culture's October Victory Celebration at Cairo Opera House

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Osama Nada, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, the university's Faculty of Applied Arts participated in the Ministry of Culture's October Victory celebrations at the Cairo Opera House. This initiative reflects the university's commitment to fostering national pride and inspiring students with the spirit of the October 1973 victories through community engagement in national events.
Prof. Nevin Farouk, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that the participation was coordinated with Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof. Farouk added that the faculty contributed several distinguished activities, praised by attendees, including:
1. Art Exhibition: Titled “Sunrise of Victory”, featuring AI-generated artworks by Prof. Heba Atef and students.
2. Interactive Workshops: Focused on beadwork, wire art, and stencil printing, supervised by Prof. Sara Ashraf and Prof. Sally Rauf.
3. Short Promotional Film: “The Story Has an Egyptian Touch”, highlighting cultural narratives.
The event emphasized blending technological innovation with traditional art forms, aligning with Egypt's vision of empowering youth through creative expression and historical awareness.
